Joey’s Hope NOLA was formed after losing USMC SGT Joseph Bovia in Afghanistan in 2010. Joey adored children and fought for their freedom. To keep his legacy alive, Joey’s Hope NOLA was established. Donations to our program allow us to fill bags/backpacks with kid-friendly food to send home with children identified as being in need. This is provided each week during the school year. Joey's Hope NOLA also assists with basic needs such as clothing and housing through our partnership with Crossroads NOLA.
